Tis the Last Rose of Summer,
Left blooming alone;
All her lovely companions are faded and gone;
No flow"r of her kindred,
No rosebud is nigh
To reflect back her blushes,
Or give sigh for sigh.
여름의 마지막 장미꽃 하나
홀로 피어 남아있네
사랑하는 옆 친구들은 모두 사라졌고
꽃잎도 없고
꽃 순도 이제 남은 게 없네.
빨갛던 얼굴들을 서로 볼 수도
슬픔을 주고받을 수도 없구나.

나도 친구들이 없어지면
곧 따라가렵니다.
찬란했던 우정들이 사라지고
진실된 마음들이 없어지면
아까운 것들이 모두 다 없어집니다.
아! 누가 남아 살아갈까
이 황량한 세상에 혼자서
